With more than 30 years of combined experience in event planning, hospitality, nonprofit fundraising, corporate event management, weddings, and social celebrations, our team brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and professionalism to every project. We've had the privilege of partnering with businesses, nonprofit organizations, engaged couples, families, and community leaders to produce events that not only look beautiful but also leave a lasting impact.
Heron & Co. was founded by Kat Leitner and Ashleigh Metherell, who share a passion for creating meaningful experiences through exceptional service, intentional design, and authentic relationships.
As Co-Founder, Lead Designer & Consultant, Kat Leitner leads the creative vision behind Heron & Co. Known for her thoughtful approach, strategic planning, and eye for timeless design, Kat partners closely with clients to transform ideas into unforgettable experiences while ensuring every event reflects its unique purpose, personality, and story.
Lead Event Manager, Haylee Salyer, whose organization, creativity, and calm, solutions-focused mindset are instrumental to every event. Haylee oversees the countless details that bring each celebration to life, coordinating vendors, timelines, logistics, and on-site execution to ensure every experience unfolds seamlessly.
Together, our leadership team combines creative vision, operational excellence, and genuine hospitality to deliver events that are both beautifully designed and flawlessly executed.
